World Interiors News Awards 2023 shortlist announced

The 85 shortlisted projects in contention for awards across over 20 categories come from all over the world, with entries submitted from 19 different countries including the USA, Thailand, Norway, Canada, the Netherlands and Australia.

Appearing most frequently were entries from practices in the USA, the UK, China and the United Arab Emirates while the cities with the highest number of projects submitted were London, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Dubai.

This year’s shortlist is as diverse as it is dazzling and includes a Buddha statue museum set in a monastery dating back to the Song dynasty (pictured above), an Instagrammable café with a cult following in New York and a beauty spa where clients are greeted with a giant hourglass art installation in the lobby.

Now in its 13th year, the WIN awards recognise the outstanding works of innovative, visionary and imaginative interior designers worldwide and are considered one of the most prestigious awards schemes globally.

Over the next two months the shortlisted entries will be evaluated by our prestigious team of senior industry judges from across the world. The winners will be announced on November 14.
