Park Hyatt Jakarta, situated in the heart of the city, offers an exceptional hospitality experience. The hotel, completed in July 2022, occupies the top 17 floors of the MNC Land Tower, boasting over 220 guest rooms and suites, along with an array of dining, bar options, and wellness facilities, including an outdoor pool, sauna, hydrothermal amenities, a fitness centre, sun deck and a full-service spa.
The client brief sought a collection of unique and interconnected spaces with a distinct identity, paying tribute to modern Jakarta and Indonesia's natural beauty. Indigenous materials, intricate Ikat wood carvings, tribal shields, Lombok games, and traditional textiles were thoughtfully incorporated. Collaborating with local suppliers aligned with responsible design practices, the project aimed to explore sustainable options whenever feasible.
Inspired by the layers of Indonesian rainforests, the design's colour palette gradually transitions from richer and darker tones on lower levels to warmer, brighter hues on higher floors. The sky lobby makes a dramatic impression, offering guests panoramic views as they emerge from the darker core of the building into airy spaces. Hand-blown crystal installations and chandeliers evoke images of rainfall and morning dew.
The communal residential space comprises four distinct areas, each with stunning cityscape views. A grand staircase leads to a vibrant all-day dining experience enhanced by bright interiors and an open kitchen. The guest rooms and suites boast sophisticated and contemporary designs, offering floor-to-ceiling windows with uninterrupted city views. The two-floor 5* wellness facility provides a tranquil sanctuary, prioritizing guests' health and well-being.
Park Hyatt Jakarta's overall design concept captures the brand's contemporary elegance, seamlessly blending with the vibrancy and individuality of the location. The hotel offers a luxurious and unique experience, reflecting the essence of Jakarta and celebrating the finest elements of Indonesia's culture and heritage.
