10 Design envisages luxury beachfront hospitality in Phu Quoc

Their hidden gem vision will transform over 20 hectares of beach and waterfront

by Séan Thurgood 06 July 2022 Waterfront

Premium beachfront residential villas will adorn Da Trao Beach in Phu Quoc, Vietnam blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature. Sun Group’s Hon Thom Island is designed to become a resort destination.

Over one kilometre of coastline and 20 hectares of beach will unite the resort together. Luxury hotels, villas and beach clubs will decorate the coast and mountain ridge of the island. These will all have direct access to the private beach.

They are aiming to create a greater connection to the archipelago through an improved transport system that includes a public jetty, helipad, and private and VIP marinas.

We are excited to complete the masterplan and concept design for Hon Thom Island, which will serve as one of the beachside jewels of the local Phu Quoc region as well as the world-class waterfront hospitality and lifestyle destination. The resort is an important milestone as the first major project completed by our 10 Design Singapore studio.

Utilising an array of infinity pools, outdoor decks, gardens and beach access, the area will promote comfort and decadence.

The village is united at the resort’s southern gateway. Cascading townhouses and boutique hotels guide your eyes to the coast. Adjacent to this is the Fisherman’s wharf which appears as an extension of the coastline rising from the sea.
