The commissioning of the India International Convention & Expo Centre was the result of an international competition organised by the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation in 2017.
Conceived as a project to support the future development of the country, the site covers 90 hectares that include a green environment of 403,000 sq m, a convention centre (73,200 sq m), offices (236,000 sq m), hotels (339,000 sq m), retail areas (156,000 sq m), a multipurpose pavilion with capacity for 20,000 people (64,200 sq m) and over one million sq m for parking.
