Having made a successful launch in Tokyo and Seoul, this new location will further expand the brand’s presence in the Southeast Asia region.
With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the exterior promenade, the interior space aims to work with its corner setting's immediate surroundings. The space’s reconstruction will transform a former enclosed retail store space into a dramatic backdrop for the brand's open kitchen design concept.
The restaurant's minimalist style will feature exposed ducting, concrete finishes, and wax-rubbed steel walls, all combined to echo the brand's design ethos. In contrast with the wooden and steel furniture and bright ceramic wall tiles, the interior surfaces will use a palette of grey and charcoal to add a calming atmosphere to the elongated dining space.
Rather than being a direct replica of other locations, the Singapore design aims to work with the architectural elements and views of the neighbouring buildings. At the front of the building, a fully encased steel recess will create the restaurant's main entrance. At the rear, adding visibility to the interior space, a large "garage-style" steel roll-up grille opening will be positioned to make the venue more accessible.
We have tried to create a visually engaging experience for the new space in Singapore that mirrors the atmosphere offered by the brand's restaurants in Los Angeles.
