‘An Indian Home with an Essence’, was the main ideology behind this project; located in the high end setting of New Delhi, the Nuovo Residence, meaning New, has been developed as a statement home true to its family’s character and architecturally suitable for a joint family of two brothers.
The residence is spread across four levels, has an ancestral aura upon entry, and yet keeps up with the modern times to include spaces for privacy. Materials such as light marble, hardwood floors, external german glazings, customized doors and frames and delicate cast iron have been used to give the home a majestic look.
The house, in its entirety appears like a timeless villa with elements from classical and contemporary architecture blending together fluidly.
The prayer room is the main highlight where the ceiling resonates with the Punjab culture and has floral patterns embossed all over. Then, in absolute contrast, there is the third floor and the terrace, meant for entertainment; almost voguish.
