Qianyang E-business Park of Ningbo City - China United Engineering Corporation Limited · ZOYO Architects is an entry in the Mixed Use category at the 2019 World Architecture News Awards.

Site of the project locates at the north entrance of Ningbo Jiangbei District, serving as the gateway connects Shanghai, Hangzhou and the main city area of Ningbo. It is the demonstration area of innovation industry agglomeration of Ningbo Jiangbei District, and the core composition of the entire Ningbo E-Business City layout.

For habitat conservation of Guanshan River to its west that belongs to the Grand Canal Nature Reserve, a maximum building height in the project is strictly limited to 50m. Besides, as the site is naturally separated in the middle part by Shen River from North to South, 'explosion' is applied to organize architectural spatial forms for reconciling the internal fragmentation, and puts emphasis on the continuity of architecture and landscape settings.

Taking the central landscape as the "explosive particle", three layers concentric circles are organized: outer layer office sector, interlayer sharing office space, and innermost support & experience platform space. The zoning setting provides users with a 16-hour work circle within the park by providing comfortable spaces for working, business conversation, catering and entertainment and exhibition/show, etc.

100 meters long façade with a 3mm perforated metal rotating aluminum plate avoids too much glare reflection while providing enough natural light for the interior of the buildings. Angle of every piece of plate is precise calculated and the continuous plates are like waving metal ripples blowing on the façade rhythmically, which establishes a breathing system for the building. The lining of toughened glass is highly secured with good energy saving technical parameters.
