V-Line Cosmetic(the Ruilan International Medical Center) is located at the Miramar Building in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. with a floor area of 450 square meters.
The designer explored the symbols that represent women, shrinking the flexible and curvy posture of female dancer into the curve in space, and using 'dancing ribbons' as the main theme, that can remind the charming scene of dancers dancing with ribbon.
Curve is one of the most emotional types of line. Each curve in the space has its own curvature, which are relatively independent but integrated. Just as every woman has a unique kind of beauty, the pursuit customer for beauty is also eternal and perfect.
The interior space chooses white as the main tone, and the facade and ceiling are treated with great area of white space. The texture of marble itself becomes the best interpretation of natural art. The rich texture has unexpected shape composition.
The mix use of marble floor and wooden wall shows a contrast of stiffness and softness, while echoes each other in texture. In particular, the warm and moist texture of wooden veneer gets rid of the cold experience of traditional medical space. The ceiling lights outline the shape of space and guide the customer. The gap left between the wall and ceiling for hidden lights gets rid of the darkness in the hallway.
The design of large French window is associated with outdoor scenery, and the transparent partition enables external visual extension, generating series of independent open spaces.
