The Coca-Cola Company, moved from their former offices in Tuas into a more central location in Singapore with a great view of Keppel Bay. This office caters to both their North American business along with their Asia Pacific Business Units.
Our Challenge: as this project was built in phases, Coca-Cola expanded to take more office space, our designers had to figure out how to connect the extension units to the main unit without breaking the user experience and flow through the space. One of the directions given to us was when you enter their offices, you need to recognise they are Coca-Cola. At the same time, not to overwhelm the space with the obvious color choice, red.
Solution: to address these challenges we installed a hand-drawn Coca-Cola mural over their reception area and by using as the Coca-Cola dynamic ribbon as inspiration for overhead creative lighting throughout the space. This was not only a clever way to interject just the right amount of “red” into the project, guiding the user through the space and also unifying the main space.
Maximising Space: the pantry offers plenty of space to host company town halls and yoga classes. To help maximise the use of the area, we created a curved double glazed system & operable walls to allow the large meeting room shown to be fully open or closed. Another large training room in the office can hold 44-100 people and can be converted into two smaller training rooms.
