Completed in July 2018, the Fawkner House display residence is one of rare vision. Embracing the signature sculptural curves of project architect, Rob Mills Architecture & Interiors, it is tremendously progressive in its design, showcasing a true confidence of character for a developer looking to sell its product.
In keeping with the client (Beulah International) brief, the team looked to replicate the ultra-luxury development (which will begin construction in 2019) on a smaller scale, all while ensuring the grandeur of the building’s design was captured.
It was also vital the display shaped an unforgettable customer experience, capturing the imagination of each visitor through a gallery-style space.
In doing so, it included the tech-automation, as well as the distinctive details and materials, such as the Calacatta Corchia marble and gold panelling, to be used in each residence’s kitchen and bathroom.
Within the 80sqm display, Rob Mills Architecture & Interiors recreated the spirit of the design, interpreting the original building in an artistic way.
With curved walls that echo the external circular motif, high ceilings and resplendent skylight (as featured in the penthouse), natural light cascades through the residence.
Most importantly, the display accurately showcases sustainability features including double glazed windows and thermal insulation, recreating the density and superb acoustic quality each residence will possess once complete.
Driven by the intimacy of an individual’s property journey, the display truly represents the brief; a luxurious impression of the final design with finesse and artistry.
