One West End extends the Manhattan Skyline west with iconic architecture by Pelli Clarke Pelli and interiors by hospitality visionary firm Jeffrey Beers International (JBI). JBI approached the project by creating an overarching design philosophy of “curbside to pillow,” meaning that the journey of the resident from the moment they stepped off the sidewalk all the way to when they entered their private residence would be part of a crafted experience with the intention of making them feel at home from the start.
JBI brought an intimate knowledge of entertaining and hospitality to the clean modern lines of the residential tower’s light filled amenities and residences with a palette of rich materials and a host of thoughtfully considered details. The over 35,000 square feet of resort-style amenities offer seamlessly integrated indoor and outdoor spaces that include an expansive fitness center and studio space, a 75-foot indoor swimming pool, spa treatment rooms, a media room, a billiards room, a children’s playroom, a game room, a living room with a fireplace, and a chef’s kitchen and dining room. The 12,000-square-foot rooftop terrace features cabanas and areas for grilling and outdoor entertaining.
The World Interiors News Awards showcase the best international design in both current and future projects. Entries for the 2019 Awards are now open - for further information and to submit your entry please click here.
