CITEDUCIEL APARTMENT Rooftop Duplex Club - Shenzhen Horizon Space Design Co.,Ltd is an entry in the Bars, restaurants, clubs and cafés category at the 2019 World Interiors News Awards.

The designer hopes with a concrete space as the media and through the idea of different space functions, to awaken the sensitivity of various sensory organs inside the human body with the most essential life elements in order to awaken our sense of presence, to reflect upon ourselves and life, and to experience the true pleasure and wisdom of life. And that is the reason the designer named it – Xing wo zhai Residence of Self-Awakening.

They merged Oriental architectural landscaping into the indoor space by taking into account behavioral aesthetic experiences in time and space, hoping that every space keeps presenting surprising life experiences.

Besides this they also combined the literariness and philosophy of the script unique to Oriental landscaping with the architectural space and apply this combination to the indoor space, hoping to make all experiencing people identify with the cultural value of refined Chinese life and give them enlightenment about life.

The designer emphasized the application of the special properties of a material by giving full play to the special properties of an ordinary material.
