House T is a 400m² beach house in Aranya, China. Entered into the an entry in the One-off homes, large and small category, architects META-Project reclaimed and altered the previous structure to add a shorter wing on the south side to allow an open-plan for more living spaces. In a sustainable way, they re-created a new spatial experience that flows through the building. The design is intended to provide a myriad of atmospheres defined by the spectrum of natural environment and communal life which characterizes the setting of the site.
Foresight Fund Management HQ is an entry in the Corporate Offices category. A prestige boutique fund house in Shanghai, Foresight China Mutual Fund, is now housed in a 2,120 m2 bastion at the top 2 floor penthouse off Kerry Centre Pudong Shanghai. With a grand panoramic view of the city in reception the interior subtly reveals a hint of a retrospective academia influence on the organization’s work culture, with a simplified art deco stone chest to further accentuate the western heritage of the Old Bund - which was once a Global Trade Hub.
A smaller workplace the Longfor Mansion Customization Studio is an entry in the Studios, Co-Working Spaces and Home Office category. The design targets an elite class who have confidence thus the interior reflects elegant colors and art decorations to interpret the beauty of modern elegance.
Mooy - Bistro & Cosmetics Shop is an entry in the Independent Shops or Small Chains category. With some carefully selected healthy dishes on the one hand and premium skincare products on the other, Mooy wanted to cater both to the inner and the outer beauty of its clients.The challenge for the 120m² shop was finding a concept that could bring the two mindsets together in one space. The result was an interior design with two very impactful circles and multiple shades of pink in a leading role, creating a strong visual link with the brand’s design.
