As we approach the final deadline for entries to this year’s World Architecture News Awards, we sat down with two of our judges - Angela Dapper and David Lewis - to find out what trends they are seeing in the industry and what is the key to making a successful WAN Awards entry.

WAN in conversation with:

Angela Dapper, Principal, Grimshaw Architects

David Lewis, Partner, NBBJ Ltd.

“I love that you get to see all these entries from across the world and it’s a really great platform for seeing work beyond what you normally see in everyday life.” - Angela Dapper

“The benefits of winning a WAN Award is enormous.. whilst it’s great for the company that wins them, it is fantastic for the staff - it increases their morale ten fold, but it’s also brilliant for recruitment, everyone wants to join a firm that has won a WAN Award.” - David Lewis

The WAN Awards showcase the best international design in both current and future projects. Entries are welcome from design studios of all sizes and specialities and offers a fantastic platform to gain global recognition and exposure for their work. For over ten years the WAN Awards have proven to be a significant asset in establishing a firm’s credentials as a design leader.

Entry deadline has been extended to Tuesday 25th June, 2019 - submit your project now.

All entries received will be featured on World Architecture News and across our social channels.
