A Diller Scofidio + Renfro designed tower has topped out in New York

?Fifteen Hudson Yards in New York, the site’s first tower with for-sale residences, has topped out and now stands more than 900 ft tall, forever taking its place in the new Manhattan Skyline. The construction progress on the building, that was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, also coincides with another building milestone as sales for the 285 condominiums have now surpassed 50%.

The announcement highlights the unprecedented momentum at the 28-acre Hudson Yards neighbourhood. Developers Related Cos. and Oxford Properties Group plan to open the entire first phase – which includes the Public Square and Gardens and its centerpiece, Vessel, and The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards – next March.

“The excitement surrounding the Hudson Yards neighbourhood has far exceeded everyone’s expectations,” said Jeff Blau, CEO of Related Companies. “With more than half of the 285 residences selling in less than a year and a half, and 92% of our available commercial office space already spoken for, we have demonstrated that Hudson Yards is where New Yorkers want to live and work.”

Fifteen Hudson Yards offers a collection of 285 one- to four-bedroom condominium residences paired with a suite of all-encompassing lifestyle amenities and services that come with living at Hudson Yards.

“The impressive and steady sales momentum at Fifteen Hudson Yards is testament to the enormous appeal of living in this brand new, exciting and incredibly convenient neighborhood in the new heart of New York City,” explained Sherry Tobak, Senior Vice President of Related Sales. “Everything you need to live an enriched lifestyle is available right near your home. Fifteen Hudson Yards sits adjacent to The Shed, New York’s first arts center to commission new work across the performing arts, visual arts, and popular culture; a diverse restaurant and retail collection; new parks; and robust neighbourhood health and wellness amenities.”

Fifteen Hudson Yards’ meticulously designed homes are available across five distinct residence types, all finished with extraordinary details, from white oak flooring to kitchen appliances by Miele. Two personalized interior design schemes include the elegant and bright tonal scheme and the contrast scheme with rich, striking hues.

From filtered fresh air, to Lutron home automation and a grey water recycling system that uses stormwater runoff to support cooling, each home is equipped with state-of-the-art features and conveniences that enhance quality of life.

Fifteen Hudson Yards residents will enjoy 40,000 square feet of world-class amenities designed for residents of all ages and feature 360-degree views of the Hudson River, Statue of Liberty and city skyline.
