Carefully considered by a panel of expert judges, the winning project was selected from the six shortlisted projects. This year’s panel included: John Hicks, Director at Global Health, Jane McElroy, Principal at NBBJ, Mark Rowe, Partner at Penoyre & Prasad, and David Weatherhead, Vice President and a Senior Project Designer at HOK.
“The machine in all its glory. A celebration of precision architecture with a nice touch of innovation in places. It’s executed very well.” David Weatherhead
“It responds well to it’s context. It highlights that healthcare buildings don’t necessarily have to look like healthcare buildings. They can look like normal buildings.” Jane McElroy
“Illustrates the power of rigorous logic and formal approach” Mark Rowe
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank the jury, and all who entered their projects into this year’s WAN Healthcare Award 2017.
