Architects, designers and clients responsible for some of the best projects created across the globe during 2017 will gather at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on the evening of Wed 28th February 2018.
The WAN Awards showcase the very best in international architecture with categories ranging from Residential and Landscape to Adaptive Reuse and House of the Year and the inaugural awards ceremony will bring together entrants, judges and clients under one roof in central London for the first time to celebrate their success.
As the awards ceremony approaches Michael Hammond, founder and Editor in Chief of World Architecture News has also announced some exciting changes to the international awards programme.
“Over the last decade the WAN AWARDs has firmly established itself as the world’s largest architectural awards programme. Since becoming part of the Haymarket Media Group in 2016 year, plans have been afoot to grow the awards into the events space.
I can now share some of our plans.
Next month will see the inaugural WAN AWARDS 2017 ceremony in London with awards being presented to architects from 59 countries over 32 categories. As a precursor to the 2018 awards, regional awards will be introduced for the first time, including best in Asia, Americas and Middle East Europe.
These will be announced on February 28th in London. Make sure you are there!
For 2018, we will also be introducing a new category, VR in architecture which will enable studios who are pushing the boundaries with new technology to showcase their work in this field.
Associated workshops and round tables will be run during 2018 alongside the awards to introduce technology suppliers and their products.
Keep in touch with WAN to ensure you have the best connections for the future of your practice, join us on 28th February in London….”
