WAN Healthcare 2017 Shortlist Announced

Six dynamic practices selected for the Healthcare Award shortlist

Attracting entries from all over the world, the WAN Healthcare Award 2017 offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain recognition and exposure for pioneering Healthcare design. Championing human-centred designs that enhance the visitor experience and maximise operational efficiency to help improve patient outcomes; whether a hospital, clinic, care home or surgery.

This year’s jury, chosen for their expect knowledge within this sector were: John Hicks, Director at Global Health, Jane McElroy, Principal at NBBJ, Mark Rowe, Partner at Penoyre & Prasad, and David Weatherhead, Vice President and a Senior Project Designer at HOK.

The six shortlisted projects in no particular order are:

The Gardens Elderly Center by Marge Arkitekter

“Interesting response to challenges of elderly care. Simple and sustainable approach.” David Weatherhead
