TAL Studio designed the 4,497 square-foot The Spa at Wynn Palace in Cotai, China with luxurious grandeur. The hotel is mega hotelier Steve Wynn’s latest masterpiece and now takes a commanding position in Cotai, Macau’s bustling new tourist destination. Wynn Palace was one of the most anticipated openings in recent years, and was the third skyscraper in all of Macau with 1,706 guest rooms. Stunning as it is unique, the hotel consists of the elegant spa that features 22 ultra chic treatment rooms, including eight VIP private suites, featuring a relaxation area, bath tub and water therapy zone.
The Spa is custom-designed to suit individual needs, using exquisitely crafted products exclusive to Wynn Palace. TAL Studio’s founder and owner international luxury hotel, report spa, restaurant, estate and estate designer Todd-Avery Lenahan was inspired by the royal residences of China’s most fabled dynasties. The spa is designed to honour the grandeur of the imperial court. Every element was handpicked especially for this hotel. Guests arrive in the Grand Court where a breathtaking solid brass Foucault pendulum is suspended in the air, its rhythmic swaying marking the entrance to a more tranquil world. A hand-painted, sepia-toned wall-covering mural runs the length of the promenade, depicting a scene of the life around a Chinese Palace and the surrounding waterways.
Lenahan designed separate men’s and women’s facilities featuring water airbeds, Jacuzzi, cold plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms, experience showers, and heated tepidariums. Facilities include the lounge or spa room at their own pace before or after their treatment. There are four double treatment rooms (two of which are private VIP suites), all named after gemstones. Each VIP suite features hand-made wall coverings, daybeds for relaxing, soaking tubs and water therapy zone surrounded by rich stone. This luxurious space for The Spa blends pampering and relaxation in a sanctuary for the body and spirit in the immersive environment of luxury and tranquility. Lenahan also designed the SW Steakhouse at Wynn Palace, Cotai, China.
