Roadhouse restaurant is situated in the industrial town Kamianske in Ukraine - a very calm and family oriented place. Therefore the team at Circle Line made it a priority to include interests for both young clientele and families. This goal was achieved by placing a large glowing bar in one part of the restaurant and kids room in another. Therefore, everyone is happy and no one is in the way of another!
Roadhouse specializes in American cuisine and BBQ. The idea of opening this kind of restaurant came to the owners after reading Danny Meyer's book "Setting the table". One of them wrote a letter to Danny and in reply received an invitation to meet Blue Smoke's team and learn some Southern dishes recipes in New York.
The main goal for the design team was to develop a simple, understandable yet stylish interior to support the main concept of the restaurant. Using lots of tactile materials like wood and concrete, the colour scheme consists of only four colours: copper red, grey, white and black. Theese are warmed with hues of natural wood and brass.
The overall dimension of the restaurant is 205 m2.
