POINTOFVIEW worked with interior designers Geyer to lighting the client facing, collaborative and public spaces. Since the completion of the project it has been the recipient of numerous awards, for interior design excellence, Lighting design excellence, sustainability and many more.
Key to POINTOFVIEW’s approach was to draw on their vast hospitality experience, using the skills and techniques that create a luxurious and inviting environment that stepped away from the industry standard blanket lighting solutions for commercial office spaces.
By creating a scheme that focussed on task areas and feature surfaces, custom designed feature lighting elements that worked in tandem with the interior design styling and materiality and balancing light and dark to create a visual journey through the spaces. The clients and employees are guided towards collaborative work spaces in response to the clients ABW (activity based Working) aspirations and brief. The balance of accent to ambient lighting informs the usage of the space, enabling users to find a s-[ace that suited their task, higher more ambient lighting in collaborate work spaces, high contrast accent lighting in private wealth to add a feeling of luxury.
The project encompassed a number of zones, from private wealth to staff banking services and event and entertaining spaces. Each zone had an individual style and approach and the decorative lighting approach enhanced the identity from floor to floor.
