Three major school projects announced for Kerala, India, to be designed by CetraRuddy

Currently there is a drive in India to improve and create schools which will offer a better educational environment for primary school children. Three major projects have just been announced for Kerala, India, by Choice Schools, an initiative of businessman and philanthropist Jose Thomas.

The new schools, designed by New York firm CetraRuddy, and will look unlike any schools seen before in India. The first of the large school campuses will be the prototype for other schools in India.

Each school will accommodate up to 2,500 students each from kindergarten through to high school level. The new facilities will occupy two undeveloped sites at Tiruvalla and Calicut, both near Cochin in the state of Kerala in southern India.
