Team announced for 100 East 53rd Street, a new luxury residential tower designed by Foster + Partners

The highly anticipated 61-storey building, comprised of 94 units, is the latest property from RFR to join the iconic “Architects Row” in Manhattan, with its prime location at East 53rd Street, just a stone’s throw away from two of New York’s most prestigious modernist buildings, Mies van der Rohe’s Seagram Building and Gordon Bunshaft and Natalie de Blois’s Lever House.

The distinctive residences will offer buyers the rare opportunity to live in a one-of-a-kind piece of architectural history. The building’s stunning façade, slender in form, tall in stature, and minimalist in geometric design, is created to complement its distinguished neighbours; the overall effect of the tower is bright and brilliant in contract to the dark bronze of the Seagram Building.

The interior design will be by internationally reputed Foster + Partners in collaboration with New York-based architect and interior designer, William T. Georgis.

“We have assembled a first class team for 100 East 53rd Street. Each of our partners was carefully selected to create an iconic tower that enriches the lifestyle of those who choose to live there,” said Aby Rosen, co-founder of RFR.
