Modostudio and Sofia Cattinari complete the Intec Headquarters, the first non-residential building in Rome to receive a class A energy certification

Set within a major centre of business and industry in the east side of Rome, the Intec headquarters boasts some interesting technological solutions, which has earned it a class A Casaclima energy rating.

Covering an area of 3,500 sq m, the building is compact and sits well within its surroundings, offering views from its sleek, modern office spaces landscaped gardens.

The main architectural features are its alternating reflective steel and glass panels on the exterior, which play on light and conjure visual effects, depending on the angle it’s being viewed from. Inside, there are several floors continuously connected by stairs, terraces, or slopes giving the space a feeling of fluidity and continuity. The layout is both functional and extremely flexible with multi-use spaces, such as the terrace/outdoor auditorium.
