The Saint Martins Lofts is London's much-awaited residential redevelopment of 13 original loft apartments, set in the iconic former Central Saint Martins School of Art.

Numerous prominent alumni have studied there including Sir Terence Conran, Alexander McQueen and Marc Péridis, founder and creative director of 19 Greek Street; the design gallery commissioned by developers Aquila House Holdings Ltd and Noved Property Group to style the interiors of one of the apartments, as a showcase for the new residential incarnation of the building.

Much of 19 Greek Street's philosophy is based on injecting new life in design projects, promoting sustainability, social design and upcycling, without compromising high quality and aesthetic values. This is very much in keeping with the creative heritage of Saint Martins and with these credentials, the show flat apartment they have created features unique design pieces with an emphasis on resourcefulness, created by designers that the gallery represents.

Furniture and interior accessories come from Nina Tolstrup of Studio Mama, Beirut based Karen Chekerdjan, Dutch Richard Hutten, collective Vij5, 3D pioneer Dirk Vander Kooij, Chilean Gt2p, Tel-Aviv based Studio Noam Dover, London based Israeli Noam Reches, and Australian Super-Cyclers. The pieces are mixed eclectically in a bright interior emphasised by a palette of pale, pastel colours.

All of the international designers involved share the same design ethos as 19 Greek Street, which has resulted in an interior that respects the rich artistic history of the building whilst injecting a modern London aesthetic.
