The second edition of the charity Ball will be held on 7th November

The Architects' Ball in association with Place Careers is a charity dinner and dance, to be held at Shoreditch Town Hall in London on Friday 7th November 2014, for 300 guests from the architectural and allied professions.

2014 marks the second edition of the event and features a masked theme this time around. The event is the brainchild of Sarah Jenkinson, architect and urban designer at Tibbalds; David Taylor, International Building Press member and editor of New London Quarterly; and Melissa Woolford, founder and director of the Museum of Architecture and Nous Collaborative.

Their target is to raise £10,000 for their two selected charities, the Museum of Architecture and Maggie's Centres, celebrate emerging talent in the built environment professions, and, of course, have fun!

The evening includes a Prosecco reception, three-course dinner, wine and a live band, with prizes awarded for the best masks.

Individual ticket prices start at £150 (for under 30s), while ten-seat sponsor tables are £2,000 and can be purchased by emailing organiser Courtney Rogers.
