Internet provider Teknotel Telecommunications commissioned designer Emir Elmaslar to design the interior of their 120 sq m office space, in Istanbul. The office is surrounded by three façades of reflective glass, creating the perception of a bigger and more spacious workplace.

Tables accommodating six people were placed within the office. All electrical cables were connected to the system under the tables, as well as acoustic felt fireproof calcium sulphate raised floor. It was ensured by the designer that all wiring from lighting or computers was presented in an organised way.

The wood panelled ceiling provides acoustic absorption. Elmaslar envisioned creating an industrial interior space, that blends modern, clean lines with industrial elements of dsign. Rough white wooden panels partially obscure the space's mechanical infrastructure within the ceiling. Situated in grey tape on the white wall is axle flying wood paneling. In addition, the ceiling motion detector indicates that wood paneling in the machine symbolises flowing data. The ceiling pipe connects six ‘flying' screen suspended from the ceiling; a means of controlling the flow of incoming data for customers and employees. Every detail within the space answers a design problem.

Natural light is optimised through the use of glass and bright, reflective surfaces. Double glazed windows wall heaters preserve the balance of heating and cooling the office, whilst the lighting uses predominantly LED-based materials, ensuring as much energy-saving as possible.
