Make’s inspirational installation at this year’s Beijing Design Week is gaining wide attention from visitors.

The beautiful display consists of a series of laser cut phrases both in English and Chinese relating to the theme of improving people’s lives with an abstract moving pattern of light projected onto the letters.

The installation was chosen to be featured at the opening of the annual design event in the Chinese capital.

David Picazo, partner at Make Architects, explained that the design vision behind the installation ties in with Make’s work and philosophy on sustainability. He said:

“Our idea was to create an engaging installation that visitors can walk through with inspirational messages to remind people they have a role to play in making the world a better, more sustainable place.”

Beijing Design Week is from 26 September – 3 October. Find out more about the annual event here.
