Raw materials transform a useful space

The creation of this space shows the ethos of Rima Arquitectura: Based in Mexico City, it is a multidisciplinary studio, focused on creating spaces through planning, design experimentation and technology in order to achieve environments that improve the performance, quality, and comfort of those using them.

The exploration for a flexible and comfortable space, where each working day does not become a tedious activity was one of the objectives for the new workshop of Rima. At the same time the design was to invite a pleasant relationship between users in order to develop a creative and playful environment.

The collaboration between different areas of art and design reflects the passion and interest of this architectural studio to innovate, integrate, and solve the many needs of clients.

The office itself turns into a showroom for multiple visual artists, landscape-artists and graphic designers. The use of uncommon materials and objects, such as recycled wooden railway ties, a Ping-pong table, recycled wood furniture, the accessories of each user that fuse their own personality with the identity of Rima, distinguish the traditional concept of an office.
