WAN Healthcare Awards get smaller

It’s an unusual announcement for WAN but in our quest to make the WAN AWARDS embrace the whole Healthcare sector, we are introducing a small project category. Our feedback indicates that many architects designing high quality smaller projects have been put off entering by the scale of the buildings that are usually seen in this sector.

The judges have always been receptive to small scale healthcare projects when they do occasionally land on the judging table, particularly as these schemes can often be more responsive to human needs in this stressful environment.

Also, we are keen to accommodate progress in the growing care home marketplace and so are pleased to announce the following changes to the entry requirements:

Small project category (both completed and un-built)
Projects under 5,000 sq m/54,000 sq ft will be eligible for a 50% discount with code HCA050

Entries in this category can include:
Hospitals
Outpatient Clinics
Surgeries
Dental Clinics
Opticians
Psychiatric Facility
Care Homes and Day Care Centres
Pharmacies
Medical Laboratories
Wellness Centres
