Established in 2006 by Frédéric Chartier and Pascale Dalix, Chartier Dalix architects office orientates its research towards a balance between location and projection. The client's requirements are considered as tools that drive the design of the project and define the uniqueness and strength of the resulting building. For this young team that has today 13 members of staff, architecture is seen as an integrated and multidisciplinary art, a contextual, unifying and innovating mixture.
Awarded in 2009 the prize of the "Premiere Oeuvre" ("Le Moniteur" magazine), Chartier Dalix architects are currently advancing the following projects which they have tendered for and won. As they enter 2012, the Harbonnières medicalized residential building has been delivered and Bacouel has begun construction.
Three other projects have also started: The young workers residential building at Porte des Lilas (240 studios) for RIVP, a school in Fresnes (20 classrooms), and 55 social housing apartments in the Chaperon Vert area in Arcueil.
The archives extension of the CG 93 in Bobigny is also scheduled for construction this year.
Meanwhile, four studies are in progress: a school and gymnasium in Boulogne Billancourt in Seguin commercial area, a school and gymnasium in the Confluences area in Ivry sur Seine, and a high school in Lille. 60 homes in Poissy are also being studied for Nexity.
Finally, new tenders are anticipated, including in the Ile de France region.
The agency's work extends widely on the periphery of Paris throughout the inner and outer suburbs, but also further towards Amiens and Lille.
