Retrofit makes two apartments in one

The owner of this apartment in Sao Paulo, a young man who works in the financial market, was so delighted with his unit that he decided to buy the next apartment and turn them in one.

The challenge was to retrofit the design and décor of the two apartments, in a way that they didn’t seem mirrored. The solution was to consider installing the service rooms - plus gourmet kitchen - in one of the original apartments, all integrated into the dining room. In the other unit is the master suite and generous closet, guest suite and home office.

As the property expanded 310 square meters, it was possible to create a leisure area to receive friends. With infrastructure speakers, screen and tricks like the ability to use two smaller dining tables instead of one, the resident can turn the living room into a dance floor at any time. The connection of units was done through one side, through a spa, gym, jacuzzi and sauna. All these environments overlook a charming panel of Paulo Von Poser, an artist that reproduces depicting scenes of São Paulo, such as Morumbi football stadium, the Lina Bo Bardi’s Museum of Art;in the other, was built a home office for the owner.

The two balconies provide views of impeccable landscaping and a touch of class to this beautiful apartment.
