The 1x2 platform measures 8m x 12m and uses a module of 1x2m plywood, constructed in a 3 dimensional grid, the platform helps to organize 3 functions: an art studio, a video viewing area and a gallery space.
It also acts as a library and storage. The combined space is used occasionally for dinner parties and cocktails and the platform becomes a conversational "art" piece while creating pockets of spaces for various activities.
The plywood grid provides strength based on a tongue and groove construction making in free of nails and allowing very thin, efficient, sustainable and light construction.
