KEO International designs integrated shopping and residential development

The Mall occupies a prominent and strategic location as the most visible development upon accessing Reem Island  from central Abu Dhabi. As the largest commercial development on the Island, the 360,000 sq m project consists of a premier regional shopping venue, boutique offices, a hotel and residential tower. The mall assumes a complimentary relationship to four residential towers and completes the vision of a genuine mixed-use development. Reem Mall & Carina Views have been envisioned as a commercial & social catalyst for the benefit of Reem Island and greater Abu Dhabi.

The design of Reem Island Mall was conceived holistically, seamlessly integrating the building with its site, with unlimited journeys & experiences to, around and within the mall environs. Formal, functional and experiential considerations were assimilated by every design discipline to ensure a superlative realisation of the project vision.

Carina Views Residences is an essential compliment to Reem Island Mall, a programmatic counterpart to the retail/commercial venue that provides full-time participants to the mixed-use development. Occupying the foremost sites on Reem Island on approach from Abu Dhabi, the collective statement of the four 25-storey towers, comprised of 693 residential units, recreational & social amenities and a retail component for a total area of 125,000 sq m. The rhythm established by the four towers provides a commanding statement on approach to Reem Island from the south, with view corridors to and from the Mall.

The towers provide an exceptional residential experience on Reem Island, affording commanding views of the entire environs of Abu Dhabi and the unique aquatic attributes of the Arabian Gulf surrounding Reem Island.
