Gilmore Group partnered with Wells Fargo to design and develop a completely new store design and branding system for their high profile urban locations.
The goal of these stores is to ‘cut through the clutter' and increase brand presence in the lucrative urban markets (New York, Washington DC, etc.). To accomplish this, the design needed to factor in the visibility and sightlines, bank operations, branding, and merchandising. The solution is an ‘Urban Flagship' system that promotes visibility from the exterior into the store, new signage and branding elements to address the challenges and opportunities of the urban customers, and fully integrated multimedia merchandising.
The net result is a holistic expression of the Wells Fargo brand that speaks in one voice, and has made considerable impact in the financial services industry.
Gilmore Group was responsible for the design of the system and standards, site specific design, and production of all multimedia content. The Wells Fargo Urban Flagship system is currently being rolled out in major urban centers around the United States.
