Aedas - David Roberts, CEO

For Aedas 2011 has been another year of growth in Asian Markets, most notably in China while there has been some consolidation in UK, Europe, Americas and the Middle East. India and Brazil are offering opportunities but these markets still only provide a small portion of our overall business and we are hopeful this will increase in the coming year.

With continued economic uncertainty in Europe and America the emerging markets are our likely to be our prime focus for opportunities in 2012, noting we are still pursuing opportunities in the mature markets as and when they occur.

Having said that our London office has expanded modestly in 2011 buoyed by a number of new architectural commissions and our Interiors Team in London is expanding rapidly having been established in early 2011.

Transportation in both mature and emerging markets is still a significant sector for Aedas and this looks set to continue into 2012.

Another strong sector for us both as Architects and Interior Designers that has continued to grow globally in 2011 is Leisure and Hospitality with several new Hotels and Resorts on our drawing boards as well as Integrated Resorts such as Venetian in Macau continuing with further development.

In Asia we have many large Mixed Use Developments in the densely populated urban centres as growth continues unabated in China and the Asian economies.
