TRO Jung|Brannen's mixed-use development is the latest addition to Dubai's Media City district

The Al Jaber Tower is the latest addition to Dubai’s Media City district. The 41 storey, 41,000 sq m development is a mixed-use project prominently sited across from the entrance to Palm Island. The tower’s lower 10 floors will house the Trader’s Hotel with 270 luxury rooms, conference centre, retail and restaurants. The top floors are dedicated office space for digital media tenants.

Inspired by the digital environment and technology of Media City, the dynamic glass and steel tower with angled windows is designed as a uniquely kinetic skin that creates an ever-changing rhythm of light as it captures the sun moving across the sky, reflections from the sea and from internal and external illumination during the night.

The new Traders Hotel (a division of the Shangri-La Hotel Group) has 270 rooms over 10 floors of hotel space with a light-filled garden atrium containing retail shops, restaurants and conference areas. A full-service health club with outdoor pool located in a two-storey open niche and a luxury spa are located on the 16th floor, just above the hotel. Twenty-one floors of general office space for digital media tenants is located above the open niche. The design also includes parking for 830 cars.
