The Caves Beachside development has won the 2010 UDIA Award for the best development in regional New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The leisure and tourist destination on the NSW central coast north of Sydney was designed by HBO+EMTB and developed by Cebac Pty Ltd. Caves Beachside is located on a spectacular site at Caves Beach, a popular swimming, whale watching and surfing beach in the Lake Macquarie region.

Stages 1 and 2 of the development comprise a series of single storey linked pavilions encompassing the hotel, bistro, bar, function centre and prefabricated 18 beach suites arranged along a boardwalk for short stay accommodation. The project has been enthusiastically embraced by the local and regional community and has enjoyed buoyant trading since opening in 2009. The UDIA Judges commented that "the development has contributed significantly to the social and economic infrastructure of the Lake Macquarie region".
