A-cero completes vast residential property in one of Madrid's wealthiest townships

As with the majority of A-cero compositions, this project combines elements of both sculptural art and architecture to form a unique residential build. Located in Las Rozas, the dwelling's plot sprawls over a sloped area of 1,368 sq m, causing the firm to adapt the property's three floors in response to the site's slanted nature.

The right hand side of the ground floor holds the rooms of most social significance - living room, lounge and dining room - contrasted on the left hand side by a bathroom, cleaning room, kitchen, office and courtyard. Access to the floors above and below can be achieved via the internal stairway or lift system.

On the first floor lie two children's bedrooms complete with individual dressing rooms, en-suites and a living room; a guest bedroom with en-suite; the master bedroom with multiple dressing rooms and en-suite; a study, library and two small-scale courtyards.

The basement contains an internal swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, massage room, cinema and cellar, alongside a storage room and space for garden and bicycle equipment. In addition to an indoor swimming pool, the property also features an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Such a detailed design approach continues in the interior space, where white walls and ceilings brighten all areas, and beige marble offers an edge of grandeur.
