Communal facilities include a common room, landscaped courtyard, and a roof top terrace with an adjacent lounge area. Offices will be located in a separate six-storey block with its main entrance on Lavington Street.
The overall massing of the development is defined by three distinct buildings. Through the façade design, which features a combination of fair faced brick work and aluminium rainscreen cladding, both the urban scale and the detail in relation to street level and the wider context ensure that they fit in well with surrounding area.
The development is due for completion in time for the new academic year 2010.
