WAN reaches 80 countries

This year, 3rd October was designated World Architecture Day by the International Union of Architects (UIA). To coincide with this celebration of architecture worldwide, WAN held its official launch in London. Over 100 architects attended the event. Speeches outlining the increasing opportunities for architects presented by digital communications and globalisation were given by Peter Murray curator of the New London Architecture Centre (NLA), Chris Wilkinson founder of Wilkinson Eyre and WAN Chairman, Richard Coleman. Awareness of the WAN news channel is growing fast and we are already broadcasting our weekly News Review to developers and architects in some 80 countries.
