This unique tower has floor plates that extend beyond the building volume with undulating geometry
ColladoCollins has designed an elegant 30 storey residential tower next to one of Crossrail’s future developments in East London. The dynamic design is identified visually and functionally by the balcony layouts which offer different visual experiences from every angle.
Each floor plate extends beyond the building volume with undulating geometry, creating up to 3m cantilevers for large patios to all apartments. The design responds to the streetscape by stepping away from the high street, allowing the creation of a landscaped terrace on the 11th floor.
The development comprising of 200 privately rented dwellings will form part of an emerging cluster of tall buildings in close proximity to the station providing much sought after housing in the area.
Along the ground floor of the residential tower the building will be surrounded by a landscaped plaza, enhancing the public realm and incorporating it with the emerging masterplan of the area.
