Aukett Swanke have designed a high profile office development in Moscow that makes an imaginative use of colour

This 15 storey Class A office design project is located off of Leningradsky Prospect in the North West of Moscow. It was designed by Aukett Swanke for a leading Russian developer client specifically seeking international architectural and interior design expertise. The site is one of the best new opportunities in the city for business park type developments due to its prominent location and relatively good access to the city centre.

The building has a staggered main facade providing more dramatic proportions for the principal access frontage and creating priority views over central Moscow. There are two executive floors at the top, with a state of the art reception lobby, retail and dining facilities at ground level. The main facade includes coloured glass and lighting elements to create a city landmark by both day and night. It has two levels of underground parking and a new landscaped plaza between this and future phases of the site.

The design has successfully responded to the essence of the client brief—to create a distinguished building that also delivers efficiency and cost effectiveness for a lean post-recession office development. The building floorplates are simple, rectangular and virtually column free, having been designed to appeal to a wide variety of occupiers.

Two further commissions were won for interior design projects for the developer’s own organisation and a corporate occupier which have been completed, capitalising on our experience of integrating architectural and interior design disciplines. This has resulted in the building winning the Commercial Real Estate Moscow Awards - Business Centre Class A Category and the Best Office Awards Moscow in 2015.
