After nearly five years managing the WAN Newsdesk, I will be handing the News Editor torch to Eva Spaolonzi in the New Year. Since joining the team in early 2010, I have witnessed the publication grow and develop in so many ways, and made some fantastic relationships that I hope will continue past my stretch at WAN. Thank you to everyone that has made these past few years so immensely enjoyable!

I will be leaving the Newsdesk in the capable hands of Eva Spaolonzi, whose background in architectural study and passion for the industry put her in good stead to lead our international editorial team going forward.

Eva comments: “I am very much looking forward to joining WAN in the New Year and I am particularly excited to write about architecture as it has been one of my passions since I was a child. I am ready now to take on the challenge and work with a dynamic and friendly new team.

WAN will be closed for the festive break from 24 December 2014 until 2 January 2015. Come the New Year, please send all your latest project news and features to Eva at eva.spaolonzi@builtenvironmentmedia.com for consideration.

If you’re entering the WAN AWARDS programme over the holiday season, please be aware that the closing date for all current categories - Commercial, Wood in Architecture, Small Spaces, and Colour in Architecture - is Wednesday 31 December 2014.
