An urban village that will forge a new heart in San Pedro
Arboleda is an unprecedented project distributed on 107,000 sq m in the municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia, in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Pelli Clarke Pelli is responsible for the architectural design and master plan of Arboleda, as for several iconic buildings around the world, while the Offices of James Burnett designed the landscape. Arboleda’s location will help revitalise and balance the 'Valle del Campestre' area, contributing to the local community with new green areas, offices, retail spaces, restaurants and residential areas.
Arboleda will be an integral urban village that will strengthen the bonds of coexistence, combining architectural design with nature to develop a local identity with global strength. It complies with the highest standards for construction processes such as LEED and LEED for Neighbourhood Development. Grouped residences, parks, shops, services, cuisine and culture, create a small world consisting of a 'Residential Resort', an 'Office Campus' and a 'Restaurants and Retail Zone' open to the entire community.
In Arboleda people will enjoy more than 20,000 sq m of gardens and public spaces. At the centre of the development a large central park of 6,000 sq m, will visually connect all three areas. It provides amenities designed for specific lifestyles. The iconic master plan, will be home to almost 1,000 native trees. A total of 350 trees have been rescued, nursed and cautiously replanted on Arboleda’s landscape to preserve a balance with nature.
Arboleda is a ONE Development Group project, a Mexican company whose goal is to develop real estate projects that improve the quality of life for its residents, visitors and community.
