Retro-style indirect energy efficient lighting
MEGAMAN launched its unique 7W LED Crown Silver series in 2010. Since then, the lamp has gone from strength to strength in decorative architectural applications. Based on the 60W incandescent silver crown lamps made so popular by Hollywood in the 1950's, MEGAMAN took the features of this iconic light source and brought them into 21st Century.
Designed in the classic A60 shape, the E27-based lamp has a silver-plated crown top and clear finish. Ideal for use in mirror lighting and table, wall, pendant and ceiling lamps, the MEGAMAN LED Crown Silver is popular where high quality light and decorative impact are required. The lamp is now used in a wide range of installations including the River Island HQ, London, The Torch House, London.
Delivering a well controlled, glare-free light, the lamp's highly reflective silver coating creates a soft, diffused light. Whether mounted on a wall alone, or in an array that is suspended or hung vertically, indirect light suffuses the area. With a high colour rendering index of up to Ra92 (Ra85 for the Warmwhite version and Ra92 for the Coolwhite version) and high colour temperature consistency of +/-150K, the LED Crown Silver has the ability to bring a touch of the extraordinary to any lighting scheme.
Using MEGAMAN's latest LED lamp technology, the MEGAMAN LED Crown Silver is highly energy efficient, achieving 80% energy savings compared to its 60W incandescent equivalent. It generates much less heat than traditional sources and has a lamp life of 30,000 hours.
Thanks to its high quality light and glamorous looks, the MEGAMAN LED Crown Silver looks set to bring both beauty and energy efficiency to decorative and architectural applications for many years to come.
