BAU sponsors WAN Product of the Year Award for third year running

World Architecture News (WAN) is pleased to announce that Munich-based trade show BAU is sponsoring our Product of the Year Award for the third year in a row. BAU’s relationship with WAN began back in 2010 when the celebrated trade show sponsored the Product of the Year Award for the first time and Exhibition Director for BAU, Mirko Arend, sat in on our jury session to select a ‘BAU Winner’ (Drainwave) in addition to the overall WAN Winner (Roca all-in-one washbasin and WC).

Since then, BAU’s affiliation with WAN has grown and developed rapidly, with the two organisations hosting a joint exhibition at Buro Happold’s London offices this past October. The launch of the event was attended by scores of London’s finest AEC professionals with past entrants to the WAN Product of the Year Awards on hand to showcase their successful products and answer any questions from potential new clients.

BAU is currently gearing up for its 2013 show in Munich, due to be held on 14-19 January next year at Messe München. Dubbed ‘The World’s Leading Trade Fair’, BAU has amassed some very impressive statistics, with 99% of exhibitors and visitors willing to recommend the event and 97% intending to take part again in 2013. Attracting almost 240,000 visitors, these figures are a testament to the effectiveness of BAU’s business development skills, with 96% of visitors rating the breadth and depth of the exhibitor range as ‘excellent to good’.

The 2012 WAN Product of the Year Award is now open for entries. Click here for more information or contact Sam Mansour on +44(0)1273 648936 or sam.mansour@wantoday.com
