Aluminium door with fine profiles for facades with extensive glazing
ASR 40 sectional door has been specially developed for architecturally demanding commercial buildings. As of today, it is the only door on the market that fulfils the high functional demands for use in industry and commerce (such as robustness, durability, thermal insulation and security), while not being immediately recognisable as a door. This opens up a wide range of new architectural designs.
To achieve this goal, the team developed a completely new frame construction for the ASR. Its 65-mm profiles are exceptionally slim, resulting in a very elegant appearance. The vertical and horizontal profiles are also of the same width and provide for harmonious arrangements. The door section seams are invisible. This makes the door look like a single element and allows for seamless integration in facades with extensive glazing.
ASR 40 has often been used in car dealerships. The door has a number of safety features, that like provide trap protection. Finger trap protection: Thanks to the special shape of the door sections, trap zones are eliminated on both the inside and outside of the door. The carrying cables are guided internally between the door sections and the frame. There are no protruding parts. This excludes the risk of injury. For doors with low-headroom tracks, the load carrier consists of a carrying chain/carrying cable. Side trap guards: The side frames are completely closed, resulting in a secure side trap guard.
The fully new frame construction for the ASP 40 door features a slim profile view and invisible section seams. This door can be optimally incorporated in modern industrial architecture with extensive glazing. In addition to an attractive appearance, the ASP 40 door has the sturdiness required for daily use.
