Having stood on the canal bridge next to the construction and watched the concrete being poured I was excited by the visualisations on the Hoarding and the WEB site. Sadly having sat in a restaurant next to the completed building I am so very disappointed by the detailing and finished surfaces. These really mattered. In the publicity it looked as if the building would be a beautiful Bronze/gold finish, such as the Novotel seen on the A40 flyover coming towards The Edgware Road or the Gem of a modern extension and restaurant to the Dulwich Picture galery, where the bronze has aged and is glorious.

The Cube!? Oh dear! Thick cream and brown! uurch It just looks dirty and presumably will just look like low spec buildings from the 60's soon. Such a shame.
