New commercial images for two garden centres in the Dominican Republic
Across vacation spots in the Dominican Republic, Adenium is already a popular and well known garden centre in the local community, providing landscape items and plants to both hotel facilities and villa owners. Recently, Architect Jesús D’Alessandro – of D’Alessandro & Asocs – has been commissioned to explore new commercial images for Adenium and to implement them at two different branches.
On cost-effective grounds for this enterprise, D’Alessandro’s aim is to obtain shapes and textures from nature to arrange an architectural composition that conveys nature itself. On one hand, nature’s sinuosity contained at an irregular body interacts with a massive flat-faced cube to emphasise contrast. On the other, regular volumes of different proportions wrapped in natural skins are combined together to coexist in balance.
Investors are expecting to inaugurate the first renewed branch before the end of this year.
